Palayadi Vinayagar
The palaiyadi vinayagar is located outside the temple, near the tank (Oorani) on the right side. The vinayagar does not want any shade over. Palayadi Vinayagar came in a devotee named Kannan Velalar dream asked him to get mud from Peraiyur Naganatha Swamy thirukovil and build Sree Dharma Sastha Kovil.
Moolamalaiandi (Murugar)
Scripts say that Moolamalaiandi had cured the illness of the King of Ramanathapuram, Sethupathi. The name is synonymous with Murugan (Malaiandi) taking care of Herbs (Mooligai) Mountain. The diety has Pirambhu (Stick) and Ruthriatcha Malai.
Bairavar
Bairavar unlike other temples is located in a separate location with its own Karuvarai. The temple surroundings has Sada Sevai Sculptures, these are supposed to be the Velalar who are associated with the temple.
Panniveerapan Swamy
Panni Veerapa swamy is seated on a horse, on the right hand he holds a Spade with which he protects his devotees. Non of the deity in temples are allowed to have their Vahanam (Vehicle) along with them, Panni veerpa swamy is an exception. The deity is a Kaval Theivam and is well known in the Pudukottai district.
Agoraveerabathrar
Agoraveerabathrar has eight hands and has a demon under his foot. He is on the right side of the main deity Sree Dharma Sastha.
Yaanai (Elephant), Kuthirai (Horse), Bootham (Daemon)
Outside the Aiyanar Temples, normally horses as statues are seen. But in Sree Dharma Sastha thiru kovil along with Horses, Elephants and Daemons as huge sculptures is present.
Peraiyur - Naganada Swami
The peraiyur Naganada Swami is supposed to be the place where mud for the sastha temple is brought.
The story is dated where a devotee of the Periyur temple unable to travel to visit the temple, brought items from Peraiyur to Kannankarankudi and built a temple around it and it is now known as Sastha kovil.
The name Kannankarankudi is followed after this person Kannan Velalar, who lived in this small village.
